All around great staff and atmosphere…
Had a quite lovely experience here last week. The office was quiet and their little store in the waiting room was very cute looking. i wanted to browse all the toys, but didn’t have time. During the apt, the vet tech asked me if I had any questions and she listened carefully and spoke with the vet in the back about my concerns before the vet came in. When the vet came to examine my cat, she had written down the concerns the vet tech discussed with her and the were all the things I had questions about. Dr. Pru was a lovely soft spoken woman who clearly knew cats very well. She examined my cat and showed me how to clean her ears after she notices a bit of gunk stuck in my cat’s ear hair. She demonstrated how to clean the ears being sensitive toward my cat’s comfort. She was very interested in hearing about my cats and seeing a video of them interacting together. She gave me great advice on what food to try that wasn’t too expensive but was good quality for a cat with a (possibly) sensitive stomach.
She did offer me feline ear cleaning liquid, which I bought, and gave me some gauze for cleaning my cats ears at home.
I was happy that the visit was centered around my cat’s care and wellbeing and not an upsell on unnecessary procedures or pet insurance. That was a huge relief.
I read some not so good reviews about this veterinary office, but I am so glad I went because my visit was exactly how I would like it to be. Calm, focused on my concerns and my cat’s health and not expensive.
I have been bringing in my dogs here for about 25 years. The dogs are always happy coming here, especially when entering the building they rush over to the counter to get treats and get kisses. They have always loved the vet technicians and especially Dr. George. I have always seen that the dogs are very friendly and happy at this place and I will continue to bring my dog here.
