Horrible customer service. Quick to take your money, but cannot help identify what is wrong with your pet. Do your job or do not work there, simple.
Meh, this place is ok. I was a walk in as my vet was unable to get us in. It was not a dire emergency but I didn’t want my dogs paw to get infected. So I decided to give it a go. Doubtful I will be back.
The process is: check in, the animal is taken to be examined behind closed doors, you are called into a room without your pet to discuss options, they treat your pet while you wait, they call you into a room to discharge you and go over everything.
My issues:
*I was quoted an hour (it took 3 plus hours with me repeatedly asking to wrap this up. Remember, the dog needed a bandage and some rx meds to prevent infection)
*They charge $223 min as an emergency fee and everything else is added on to that so buyer be ware. You could be ripped off easily as the upsell and scare tactics about what ‘could’ go wrong are apparent.
*I find it strange they don’t exam to animal in front of you as they have exam rooms.
Overall, the service was fine, everyone was fine, everything was fantasically mediocore. It seemed a little disorganized. But, they are open 24 hours so if you needed it in a pinch, you will have a fine and mediocore experience I am gussing. I wouldn’t expect anything more.
Blue Pearl saved my cat’s life. They have great people there who clearly care about the pets they treat. While my cat was there they frequently called me with updates so I was always aware of my cat’s condition and what they were doing to keep him alive. He is now doing well and looks to have a long life ahead of him.
It is quite expensive, and you should know that before going there. I recommend getting pet insurance, as that is the only way I was able to afford it. If you have insurance or can afford it, I highly recommend Blue Pearl.
Just wonderful. My first experience at the emergency vet for a serious problem for my cat and I just can’t thank them enough. Very human. They will do everything possible.
They took amazing care of my puppy here. The staff was so kind and caring. They offered us all different pricing for different ranges and all cared so much for my dog. Great service. There when you need them.
