I have been here a few times, twice with my cat and once a few years back with our family dog. Every experience was above and beyond what I expected from an emergency standpoint. All the staff is compassionate, they took thorough notes & explained every option & the procedures were done the same day. I’m grateful for the patience and time spent trying to give us the best outcome. Worth the drive every time!
We took our dog Cooper this morning, referred by his regular vet. He had shallow breathing, not eating, losing weight, withdrawn. Found out it was terminal cancer. We let our dog cross the rainbow bridge. Walter and I want to thank the staff for their compassion and support. We held Cooper, gave him kisses and told he we will meet again. Dr. Jordan Assenmacher Was very professional, knowledgeable, and straight forward. We appreciate not trying to milk us off money with useless treatment. He was ethical and gentle with us while we were trying to grasp the severity of our dog illness. We made the right decision to avoid more pain to our dog and Dr Jordan was there with us. Our boy did not suffer unnecessarily. Thank you again.
Had to rush my dog here in a panic because he was vomiting over and over. The first day it was slow and they got me in immediately. They took good care of my dog and paid attention to his body language. My dog is not an easy patient as he is very nervous of over handling and would buck during exams and he’s a large boy (Great Pyrenees). I have experience working in veterinary care as a vet assistant and I had to help manage my pup because they were short staffed. But the tech was kind and patient and didn’t act annoyed of me wanting to be a little more hands on with my furry friend. The male vet on that day was also kind. A few days later my boy was having severe diarrhea and had to come back for another exam. The clinic was busy and the wait was long, but still everyone was kind. Even though we waited a while and they got even busier, I didn’t feel rushed or unheard at any point. They still took great care of my Moose. Having worked closely along side a veterinarian for 5 years I learned how she works. Learned what she might prescribe before she did it and learned how she operated. Unfortunately the vet I worked along side for so long is a shelter vet and I cannot bring my own pets to be seen by her. I grew to trust and love her techniques and the way she cares for animals and always wish to have a vet for my own pets, like her. Blue pearl’s veterinarians and staff had similar technique to my beloved coworker and it made me feel at ease and in a weird way at home. Maybe only another animal welfare worker will understand what I’m talking about, but I love this animal hospital. After taking my older dog to multiple different clinics in search of a veterinarian who’s practice matched one I grown comfortable and accustomed to, it was nice to find that in a time when my heart was worried for my fur baby.
I had to take my Delia for emergency treatment on Sunday and the staff was so kind and thoughtful in my emotional state of mind. They helped me with everything to telling me what was going on with her and her chances of getting better. I had to make the painful decision to put her to sleep so she would not suffer anymore. It’s been hard on me as she was also a support animal. I will treasure the cast of her paw print that they gave me. I can not express how gentle they were towards me and I would recommend them to everyone.
