dont take your animals here, they will rob you. my tortoise needed 2 antibiotics, they cut me off in a about a week and a half, after spending 1000 dollars to see what kind of lung infection it was, they wanted another 600 dollars before giving anymore meds, that’s extortion. tortoises are slow healing and she was dealing with a double lung infection because she was on the wrong meds for almost 2 months (from previous vet and this vet before finding out which bacteria it was). now at a 3rd vet which now the tortoise is doing much better because he gave her the proper medications and left her on it for a month.
1st time client, I absolutely love this place, I wish I could give more than 5 stars. They were clear about treatments and what to expect as well as options, after care and future care. Everyone had a great attitude, the environment was so light and happy. This is a place that truly cares!
This is the first review that I’ve ever left that I truly hope someone reads and it actually helps them. If you are looking for a vet, then you just found the BEST, and most professional in Michigan. I’ve spent the entire weekend calling, begging, and walking into every single vet I could find IN THE ENTIRE STATE trying to save my chinchilla that I believed to be bleeding out. Not one would help me. Not one. This vet took him into surgery immediately. And they actually cared! They even helped me in a way that I could afford to save him. The staff are so so friendly. The vet herself was direct but very knowledgeable, which imo is exactly what I want in a vet. Especially when it could be the death of my pet.
I really hope that if you are reading this that you bring your animal here. Every one of mine will be coming here now. And if you are a vet that lives in the state of Michigan, I hope that you read this twice. I guarantee that if you ask your secretary, they denied a crying man begging to save the life of his bleeding chinchilla this weekend….
So do your animal a favor and bring them to Ark. No other vet cares about your pet. It isn’t money, they simply don’t care. And to Ark, thank you all. You couldn’t have done it better
Took my bearded dragon for tail rot. They’re very friendly and professional. Took good care of my girl
