The person checking me in, I believe his name was Simon was very pushy with signing up for the Banfield health program and kept persisting on it after I said I wasn’t interested multiple times. The biggest issue I had was I brought my dogs vaccine records with and he told me that my dog needed a full round of boosters cause the original were not finished.
After reviewing the paperwork again when I got home I realized that he was wrong and my dog wasn’t due for an update with shots till end of July. He hadn’t paid attention to the records and had not listened to me when I tried to tell him that, subjecting my dog to unnecessary shots at the wrong time. Also the main reason for the appointment was microchipping my dog and they did not want to do it without sedatig him at a future appointment, which I wasnt told till I was checking in.
I arrived for an appointment where the correct treatment wasn’t done and was a waste of time and money. It was not a pleasant experience and I will not be bringing either of my pets back when the staff is negligent and rude.

I?ve been going here for years, even recommending this place to others, but recently they made me really upset. So I paid $600 for a wellness plan for my cat. By the way they automatically renew it & possibly bounce your checking account. But anyhow, i was told you get 2 blood works per year. & a dental cleaning & vaccines. Yesterday I brought my cat in for her dental cleaning & they told me that if my cat was not able to do the cleaning that they were going to charge me for the blood work. WT? Why does it matter if she gets the cleaning or not? They have to do it anyway. Mind you that this plan has raised in price $120 in 3 years.
Then my dog was there & they never offered us flea & tick & heart worm medication. It?s warm out now & I called today and they would not give me any because the Dr. isn?t in. I?m like ?so my dogs just supposed to die of heart worms?? I just hung up, I mean seriously. It?s time for me to find a new vet & I got 5 pets going there.
