    5/2/23: Update
I have been bringing my cats to Cats Preferred for several years now and I can say we still love them! The veterinarians and the techs, I am impressed by the care they give my cats! They are gentle, talk in soft tones, do everything they can to make my fraidy cats calm. If you are looking for a place for your cat(s) I highly, highly recommend them! You won’t be sorry!

I took my kitties here after not having been in to a vet in several years. There was no shaming, just a plan for ensuring my cats are well. The vets I have worked with (Dr Schmitt and Dr Boetcher) have been wonderful! Because of Covid I’ve not been able to go in, but when speaking by phone both were very thorough, spoke in terms I could understand, very very caring and offered options for care. They also called after to make sure my cats were doing ok (the Drs themselves). The techs are also great! So helpful, kind to my cats and help to make sure I understand what has happened at the visit and what next steps are. I am so thankful for finding this veterinary office! I won’t take my cats anywhere else!

They Didn’t know what was wrong with my pet, after taking vitals, and even after second opinion from another vet, proceeded to take Urine test, X-rays (with exam $350) which were never even went over with us at all just sent in an email after complete, said there possible was a “mass” but they weren’t sure what it was. Also wouldn’t schedule ultrasound which was said to be needed regardless, instead proceeded to suggest euthanizing my cat. Saying he wasn’t in good enough shape, he’s just fine now mind you.. Lucky I can give 1 star even. Far from a professional visit.

Always kind and compassionate care. They know how to take care of my easy going cat as well as my cranky vet hating one! Plus I love that there aren’t dogs in the waiting area to stress my kitties out!
