I have all three of my dogs receive care from Shepherd of the Hills Veterinarian Clinic- they have always been good us- the last few days I had to take one of our puppies in to get his first set of shots and he is a farm dog so he is very afraid of people and places because we haven’t had the chance to socialize and yet. I wanted to give a shout out to Annie she spent extra time with him came around the counter and sat on the floor and helped him to feel comfortable by feeding him treats and slowly and gently reading his body language to know what he was okay with. Also Lacey was wonderful in helping me take him out because I have an injury she helped me carry him outside because he was too afraid to walk outside because of the other animals in the waiting room! I can tell that they truly care about their clients and we will continue to bring our babies here!!

Dr. Amanda is kind and caring. Staff is responsive and knowledgeable. Clinic is always clean and ready to receive our fur children.
Awesome! I drove 3 hours to return my lovely Iggy to get second opinion on her. It was the only place I knew would figure out how to treat my dog. Shepard Of The Hills clinic was used for both my dogs. Always good care and treats you with kindness and respect. Dr figured out what needed to be done. Surgery for mass, No Cancer! Yay! Was difficult time for myself. After Iggy was taken back, I cried. Staff comforted me. Understood my anxiety. Everyone there has always been caring towards our little family. I can’t say enough wonderful things about All staff and Dr’s. I highly recommend this clinic. No one is perfect but this group of people are very close to being so. My deepest Thanks to ALL!My furbabies and myself love all who care for them. Your greeted with caring as soon as u walk in. Both my dogs get such wonderful care from all.
My dog got bit in the nose by a copperhead. I called here because they were only 15 minutes away from me. They told me they didn’t have anti venom and there was absolutely nothing they could so for hi. He was having a hard time breathing and foaming from his nose and mouth. I said, nothing at all? They said, no. I would have to drive another 45 minutes to Springfield. I got here and he’s very weak. The emergency vet in Springfield couldn’t believe they wouldn’t help me.shr said they don’t use anti venom on dogs unless it’s a rattlesnake. They could’ve gave my dog antibiotics and pain meds. Very nice people at this office but not helpful at all.
