They don?t like money. The lady told me that they do not want any new business at this time. That can?t be normal.
My chihuahua got attacked by a pit bull and needed neck surgery ASAP . I didn?t have the money to pay upfront so the hospital on north oak turned us away … this vet ( being a friends regular vet ) took my baby in with minimal money and boarded here for a week with an iv and a cath and kept her stabilized until I could get the thousands of dollars for her surgery … and didn?t bother me about the costs AND let me take her without paying the 500 + upfront to get her out 🙂 ( I paid them later of course )
They saved my babies life I am SO grateful
Always a pleasent place to go and they always take really good care of my pets
So happy to see that they’ve added a Liberty location in the last couple of years. Eagle Animal Hospital has always been wonderful and that’s consistent amongst their other locations too. The staff is great, and the vets have always been thorough and kind to me and my fur babies. I wouldn’t take my pets anywhere else. I was also so happy to see the Liberty location was able to stay open during their current renovations! I can’t wait to see it when it’s all said and done.
Best in KC! Office staff is knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions and the Doctors take their time and really love my pets like they are their own! Couldn’t imagine taking my pets anywhere else! So glad to have this location in Liberty now!
I took our dog in to see the vet and the care she received was thorough, professional, and caring. The vet spent a great deal of time answering my questions and made sure that I understood all that was being done. My dog.. and I… received top notch care. In addition, the office staff and vet techs were efficient, friendly, and also professional. I felt that my dog was in the very best of hands.
We’ve been going to Eagle Animal for a few years and specifically Dr. Nelson for a year now; she’s so patient, kind and thorough, I’m so grateful we found her and have her as our vet.
Dr. Nelson has always taken good care of our dogs and always treated me with respect and the staff is as friendly and helpful as can be. My issue lies within the billing. It costs me an arm and a leg for something as simple as an ear infection (recently charged over $200). I did take my dog in to get spayed which was pretty expensive in itself. But- is what it is and I paid it. I got Ellie home that night and she had started bleeding quite a bit which resulted in us having to go to the ER vet. I got in to see Dr. Nelson next morning and they agreed to watch Ellie and make sure the bleeding stops and she is in good health. As I was getting ready to leave, the doctor explained that as she was sewing up Ellie’s last stitch she nicked something that resulted in her bleeding quite a bit during the surgery. I understand it was an accident Ellie’s fine it happens. But when I come to pick her up at the end of the day I was charged a fee for watching her for the day and for food that they supposedly fed her. Even in spite of the fact that the doctor admitted she made a mistake. A few days later the stitches hadn’t dissolved so I was understandably scared to call in to ask them to remove them afraid of being charged again. Luckily there were no additional charges for having the stitches removed. All in all they provide good care and my dogs seem to agree, but be prepared to pay $$$ for it.
