My cat Alice was put down here and they would not let us see her before she passed. I will never forget nor forgive this business for that, and the terror my cat must’ve felt thinking we gave up on her.

Even though the outcome of my recent visit wasn’t what I wanted it to be I must say this place is the BEST. The warm and caring people that I dealt with was amazing. I would recommend this place to everyone. Thank you all for what you did for me and my beloved pet.

I took my dog in after she vomited blood. The nurses were helpful and knowledgeable. When I arrived a tech came right out to take her vitals and then let me know there would be a wait. We waited about 20 to 30 minutes and then we were seen by another tech and a dr shortly thereafter. The doctor was great and let me know that this could be due to stress/inflammation but reccomended an xray. I was given an estimate and was able to veto a few things I didn’t want her to have done.
Overall it was a swift and straight forward process. I was never questioning what kind of money I would have to spend since they gave me a nice estimate. I feel much more relieved that my dog is ok and the professionals here took such good care of her.

I would like everyone at VCA to know how deeply grateful I am for them. My boyfriend and I rescued a kitten February 17th of this year and little did we know, she was extremely sick. We did absolutely everything we could, but we’re pretty certain she had FIP which is mostly fatal. Our baby Ryder collapsed on Saturday, we had her for not even 3 months. Her belly was full of free fluid and she wasn’t going to make it. Everyone at VCA was so quick helping her, they sprang into action right away and got her right in and did what they could. The worst possible outcome happened and we had to humanely euthanize her. It was so. So. So. Hard. But the staff were incredible, and so compassionate. We are so very grateful we brought her there, and I truly cannot thank them enough. It was so difficult but the way they helped us and cared for her made us feel so comforted.

Review is based upon my recent experience. We called first and was told there was "a bit of a wait". Our pup could not turn his head to the right and was walking in circles and crying and shaking. We felt this could have potentially be a neck injury so we brought him in and started our wait at 1:47PM in the afternoon. He was seen by triage, which consisted of checking his heart and breathing. They said he was stable, but obviously in distress. Our ticket stated we were number 11 to be seen. I can completely understand more urgent emergencies or euthanasia cases can increase wait times. BUT nearly 7 HOURS later at 8:26PM were received a text that we were next in line to be seen. Not ONCE during the 7 hours did anyone from triage come out to re-check ANY of the animals in the waiting room. At around 9PM a limping dog came in. They took the dog in within minutes. At that point I went up to the receptionist and asked what was the actual expectation that we were going to be seen. She said that case had been a transferred from another vet so that bumped us again and that the doctor still had 2 other cases to see. We finally gave up as our dog was getting more and more stressed as we were and at that point we were like it’s probably going to be hours again until we are seen so we can sit in the waiting room or we could sit in our home. The person next to us had given up after 6 hours, she was only waiting for a bandage change (after being seen at the facility 2 days prior and being told to bring the dog back). It is just crazy to me that they cannot have open communication with those waiting of realistic wait times, or limit how many people they have waiting to be seen. There has to be a better way.

I will say the front desk people were amazing. Offering to order us food, give us phone numbers to other emergency vets, and were very apologetic.

This is not a review based on care, because IF we had been seen, I know the care would have been excellent. But something has to change with the management of this practice, either hire more staff or have on-call staff to assist or be more open with people about wait times and let us make better informed decisions.
