I had to bring my cat Skitty in for an emergency end of life appointment. It was 4 am on a Saturday morning when I called, and they were so kind and understanding of my panic. We were driving down from Virginia, and they texted me directions and the link to register. When we got in, we fortunately did not have a wait. The doctor and staff were so patient and compassionate to us during what was obviously an emotional and distressing time. At no point did I feel pressured to say goodbye to my little guy faster than I wanted to. In the weeks since he passed, they have sent me a card and made a donation to have a tree planted in his name. Their services for cremation were reasonably priced and presented to me upon arrival as they knew I wanted to go that route. I got my little guy back in under a week and they were so kind when I picked up the package. I will forever be grateful for how everyone there treated us. I will continue to use Happy Tails for any emergencies. Absolutely worth the drive for me. Thank you again to all of the staff on that early Saturday morning. I really appreciate you all.

Today we came home to our Guinea pig unable to move his hind legs and overall not in good shape. Our regular exotics vet was closing and unable to see him. Our regular emergency vet did not feel comfortable taking care of him either. However, Dr. Barnes at Happy Tails was willing to help our sweet boy over the rainbow bridge. I was informed right away that we would not be able to be present, since they?re not equipped for exotics, which is completely understandable.
Everyone we encountered was extremely kind, patient, and caring and showed great concern for our comfort during this time. Thank you all at Happy Tails Vet for your compassion.

The worst PLACE ever! After I paid 500 then I was kicked out in the cold- told I couldn’t even sit in lobby. Returned 2 hrs later and desk lady was so rude tome I had to argue to get my pet back!

    called them.on 15 april at 4;45pm
my dog i thought ate aluminum foil peanutbutter cover.
girl on the phone was very attentive to my worries and asked the Vet real fast.
she got right back with me on the situation.
totally professional and put me at ease.
luckily found the aluminum wrapper on the floor. So all good anyway.
hope they pass on my thx to the staff on duty.
    very caring people.

Worst place ever, had a dog bitten by snake and was told have to pay up front 700.00 just to look at the dog or even try to take action…did that now waiting to only find out they didn’t even use or give it ,after only reason traveled them was because they said had anti venom. Now 1400.00 later took dog home with no answers only to pray for the best outcome, never take a sick animal here ever..my thoughts only a money hungry place, after reading reviews now realize this.
