A lot of people seem to really like this place and at first so did I. I don’t know if things have changed recently but I don’t believe the quality of service is the same as some of these older posts make it out to be.
I went in for ear infections and a surgery for a hematoma for my dog, both of which I was assured were simple and very common things seen in dogs with floppy ears. The doctor advised I allow him to administer a one time use medicine for the ear infections so “I wouldn’t have to worry about daily dosages of ear medication” and in a few weeks it would be completely clear. After a few weeks the infection was not clear and I had to bring in my dog again for another exam and to now get the do it yourself medicine for the infection. Again I was told this would clear it up and paid price. After following the instructions given the infection did not cease and so I called again to see what to do next, they wanted me to come in and pay for another exam as well as medication. I asked if they could comp the services (doctor’s time) and I would just pay for the medication, seeing as I had already paid twice for services rendered for the same issue, they refused.
The surgery part was overwhelming, there were nurses trying to take my dog away even before I had finished going over everything that was going to be done and they tried to add things to the bill that I had already told them multiple times over the phone while setting it up that I did not want to be on there or that were unnecessary.
Bottom line is, I believe they care more about the bill and less about the care given to your pet.
We’ve had an absolute amazing experience with Dr. Mark and his team. So thankful we switched from our previous vet. They care and do everything they can to help!
