I am shocked by the exceptional care and love this clinic has showed my cat. I have never had a better experience. I highly, highly recommend Dr.Claudia, she is amazing! Thank you for your huge heart and passion for animals that shines through your work and your personality!! My family and I truly blessed to have had her as our kitties doctor. Our 2 year old goldendoodle had been sick for days with diarrhea and vomiting not eating or drinking and we had gone from vet to ER’s spending tons of money and looking for the answer. We finally ended up at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Matthews and she saw Dr. Spivak. We received excellent compassionate care and were so relieved to have found a highly knowledgeable caregiver with a calm demeanor and with full confidence that our puppy would recover well. She spent the night and the next day there and we knew she would be cared for and safe. The front desk staff could not have been nicer or more caring and helpful. AND they didn’t do a whole bunch
of tests that were not needed. Their costs were far lower than the other ER we went to first. We HIGHLY recommend this wonderful facility and their fantastic staff.
I called around 12:20am and was placed on hold for about 5min. I was transferred around a few times, then spoke to the front desk and told her about my dogs symptoms. She said, would you like to come in this evening or speak to a technician before rushing over? She was nice, but after being placed on hold for another 5 min, the technician said if she?s not in distress and her gums are still bright pink then she?s likely experiencing nausea. I asked if I could bring her in to make sure she?s ok and he said, we?re not taking anyone else tonight. This made me really upset because the receptionist said I could come in, but the tech said, sorry no more patients tonight. Call in the morning, if symptoms get worse. This facility is HORRIBLE! A total of 12 minutes on the phone to only speak with a human for about 1-2 min.
This is the second time I?ve called this facility and had horrible service. Never again!
