Super great people!!! Very comforting during a really sad time.
I called first to see if my visit was necessary, they mentioned it would best to come in, and honestly I would have went regardless. The lady on the phone was helpful and so was the woman who checked me in. My puppy was seen pretty quickly, and that girl was super helpful too. The vet came to check-in/follow-up at the end and that was that. They helped my puppy, answered all my questions, it was a smooth process, and everyone was friendly. In the event of an emergency, I?d go back.
The only reason they are getting one star is because the front desk and office manager were professional and kind. However, whatever you do, do not see Dr. Braun. My vet recommends all her emergency cases however he did treat our dog with urgency and getting her iv antibiotics immediately. My primary vet, myself, and NC state are beside ourselves. For his sake, I hope my mom’s dog doesn’t kill over by tomorrow for his lack of urgency with what is going on. I will be writing to the state board for his license to be reviewed.
I was vacationing in Virginia and unfortunately my dog developed a uti and was bleeding when she urinates. Carolina veterinary were the only vets office that was able to see my dog. So we drove about an hour and half to get to them and the woman at the front desk, her name is Judy was so sweet, nice, and extremely helpful. I felt like she was going out of her way to help us. The other staff and dr. Johnson were very nice as well. Thank you very much for caring my baby girl Quinn.

Amazing place to take your pet. All of the staff were amazing. The neurologist Dr Bray kept us up to date on the care of our dog Lady during her 2 day stay with them. The staff even kept the toy car one of my sons left in their waiting room. Dr Bray was optimistic about her recovery but unfortunately after suffering another stroke a few days after coming home and becoming fully paralyzed as well as developing pneumonia, we had to make the tough decision to her down. Our 2 toddlers were with us and they gave us options if they wanted the boys to be there. The vet gave us as much time as we needed before she passed as well as after. While it was a sad occasion for meeting the staff, they were kind, considerate and took great care of our little Lady.
My daughter had to take her puppy in. The staff was understanding and very helpful. Although they were not able to save the puppy the compassion they showed while caring for her dog was tremendous.
My sister tried to take her 5 month old Doberman to them under the suspicion that he had been poisoned, the vet was no help at all and wouldn’t even see the him because they didn’t know what he was poisoned with, apparently they want you tell them how to do their job!! luckily she found another vet to help, he almost died due to the lack of care by this vet!!!
Was told 1 hour wait and have been here for over 6 hours. Was told it wasn’t an emergency while my dog bled in the waiting room for over 6 hours. Keep getting told I’m next every hour for over 6 hours. Take your animal somewhere else. Could’ve gotten my medical degree and fixed my dog herself
