Brought my Multis dog with horrible bite wounds. Dr Davis operate him and did amazing job. All med techs are attentive.
Just a Money grab, was referred to them for my dog’s cancer, just to talk and take basic x-rays was close to a grand. They wanted to rush treatment with zero guarantees. Got a second opinion at OSU. For x-rays CT scan lymph nodes checked was only $1400. Med vet wanted $1700 for just the CT scan. Surgery was $5K. OSU with CT and surgery will be $5k. ALWAYS get a second opinion. OSU was way more knowledgeable and professional than Med Vet.
We had a new patient appointment for acupuncture and found out upon arrival that I wasn’t allowed in with him for his initial appointment. I’m not going to just randomly hand my dog off to a stranger without meeting a new doctor before treatment. I can understand that rehab visits can be different than regular veg visits but this should have been disclosed when making the appointment.
Additionally, the fees that I asked about prior to scheduling were nearly double upon arrival. I choose not to start treatment since there’s no trust now since everything they’ve said has been untrue.
Wow! What a wonderful difference from another emergency vet in the area. Everyone was professional, friendly and very helpful. They treated my GSD with respect and did not prejudge her for her breed. They got the diagnosis and explained very well. I will be using them again. Update!! Had an emergency and they were quick and caring. Started care right away!! Explained everything very well. Treated my girl as if she was their pup.. They got her symptoms under control. Greatful I was able to take her home due to they quick care.
