My small older dog needed influenza booster vacc it is a 2 shot deal spaced a couple of weeks apart. He got the 1st shot, from my regular vet at apple hill in broadview hts. AH later called me to say they had to cancel his follow up appointment because they ran out of the booster vaccine and were put on a waiting list by the manufacturer. They recommended I call around to see if another vet has it in (i feel apple hill should have called around for me-not just leave my dog in a lurch but didn’t argue about it). Knowing the booster window is time sensitive I called around to find another vet who had the vaccine. The person on the phone from Brecksville animal hospital said they had the vacc but are not taking any new clients. They refused to give him booster even though they had the vacc. Simply mind boggling. His records are easily verifiable. The lady on phone was Rude and Arrogant. They obviously don’t care two flips about helping pets or colegiality. I would never trust my fur babies to such a heartless place. We finally found a great caring vet just in time at Paws at Play in N Royalton who understood the situation and offered booster with exam of course.
