I took my two cats in for check-ups and vaccines last September so that they would be able to be boarded when we planned to be out of town for a couple of nights. When I called to get them in, they asked me for information about the cats such as their names, ages, and whether they were male or female. One of the cats came to our family as a stray kitten and so we guessed female?very fluffy, and I?m no pro. The vet did an examination in their back room; I did not see what they did or didn?t do. Now nearly a year has passed and I found out the cat is male. How did they do a full examination on my cat and not correct me on the fact that he is male, not female? I don?t like that, it makes me wonder what else they might miss, and we have found another vet.
However, I left stars on because the staff is incredibly nice. I enjoyed chatting with the lady at the front desk and she helped me when my hands were full.
Edit: Thanks for the response?no strong feelings in particular; I received a reminder recently from the office to have them come in, and that, along with the new information about my boy that I just got a few weeks ago, was what prompted the review. The experience at the office was really great and I had no problem with it until just now finding out that my queen is really a king and wondering how the previous associate didn?t catch that. Thanks for explaining.
Not clear on any of their after care/ medicine instructions! First I’m told to use acne pads that contain Benzoyl Peroxide, I could only find this in a cream. Then I’m told to use polysporin as well,. But do not use the 2 together. Then I’m told to also use toner , Benzoyl peroxide and polysporin together. They will not give simple instructions! Also, there wasn’t even a diagnosis on my bill. There’s so many other vets around that place choose anywhere besides that place! This has been going on for a week! While my cats problem has not healed! Zero stars!
I would totally recommend this place for boarding. They took great care of my cat who takes meds and they even sent some pictures. He came back super clean and healthy.
