Stay clear of this facility. They charge you for things that arent needed or desired just because they say their facility "requires it". Made appointment 2 months in advance per their scheduling, then did their "Required" pre op appointment 30 days prior to he spay procedure. Then 1 week prior to surgery I get a text message saying they can’t do procedure and will have to reschedule it… Next date for reschedule is 1 month later "possibly" according to them. I finally said just give me my money back and I will go elsewhere to get my pup taken care of. The refunded the deposit but refused to give me my $58 dollars back I paid them for the pre-op appointment they mandated be done. My pup didn’t need nor did I want to do it they said it was "required".
I have been taking my cat Fergus here for a couple of years now and have had a really positive experience. The price is right and the vet/techs are always pleasant and professional. I would recommend this clinic to others.
I’ve taken 2 separate dogs to this vet. At first it was a good experience then I had an emergency with my first dog in the morning on a weekday and they would not see my dog who was a patient of this clinic they told me to call other vets and gave me a list. My dog ended up passing away that day. Then I take my new dog in and get her spayed shots and checkups. Then I have an emergency with her and the same story. They can’t see her. So I took her to a different vet that day and will never go back to clackamas pet clinic. They never have time to take care of established patients during an emergency.
The vets and front desk are always friendly, communicative and flexible with getting me in early if I need to. Even when I’m waitlisted for a sooner appointment they’ve always reached out to me the next day with open availability. They always do check ins after an appointment, contact me back after I’ve left a voicemail or a message and are the sweetest to my dog. My dog is hyper and gets excited seeing ppl and they always work well with her and do their best to make her comfortable during her appointments. Highly recommend Clackamas Pet Clinic!
