    Extremely expensive

Exceptional clinic. Quick, conscious receptionist, technicians and veterinarians. I?ve had bad experiences with emergency vets pushing high cost diagnostics, but this clinic was understanding and straightforward. Not cheap by any means, but I was walked through options and payment plans and my puppers came out a-okay on a scary Sunday.

My vet didn?t have the resources to properly diagnose a mass on my dogs leg. I reached out about a CT Scan and the front desk was so helpful. They gave me a list of vets in the area who could provide the service and then called MULTIPLE times to check in and see if we found anyone. We ended up taking our dog here and I?m so happy we did. They were extremely nice and sympathetic. They were clear in the diagnosis, and extremely clear explaining possible solutions. They have been so kind to me and my dog. As an anxious dog momma, I left wishing this could be my forever vet.

So angry and frustrated with this place. I took my dog in after a raisin ingestion, they made me call poison control to see what the recommendation was. Red flag right away. First of all, shouldn?t the vet already know how to treat this?
Luckily, I got my dog in within an hour and they took him back pretty quickly to induce vomiting. I then proceeded to wait for a really long time for the vet to come in to chat after apparently being on the phone with poison control for over an hour. She basically just told me the recommendation is to keep him for 48 hours for continuous IV fluids and for 2 blood work tests. And they wanted $5,000. For some saline water and two sets of blood work. She didn?t give me any other options, and didn?t even come back out to speak with me after I said I couldn?t do the 48 hour hospitalization.
I had other questions, and the receptionist kept phoning to the back to speak with the vet??..such a scam and SO unprofessional. I called another urgent care vet and they said if I went there it would be approximately $1,000. I pray my dog will be ok after this incident and I?m kicking myself for not calling around to a few places and getting an estimated quote beforehand.

The staff here were so dismissive and not caring at all.

My cat went into heart failure and had to cross the rainbow bridge, the vet and techs who supported me and my cat in our last moments were compassionate and I cannot explain how the veterinarian supported me. She was so nice but not in a fake way, just authentically herself and I knew she cared. This was the worst day of my life, but these people were extremely supportive in this process. I just got a sympathy card from them signed from all the employees there today in the mail.

The wait was 2 hours at 5am on a Sunday. Probably to be expected. The staff support; vet and techs were kind coupled with cost was outstanding. So fortunate for their location and services. Our Chihuahua got the care she needed and we trust their evaluation and treatment was appropriate to the situation.

I took my aunt’s cat who had been severely injured by a cat bite to Cascade Veterinary Refferal Center and they did such a wonderful job nursing him back to health. He was a completely different cat after we got him back, he was so much more playful and happy and I cannot show enough gratitude to the entire staff and team there. Not only did they save my cat’s life, but mine as well. I was very worried about his health but they did everything they could to make sure he was gonna make it through. Thank you so much again, you guys are the best!

I had to take my senior cat to the emergency vet, and unfortunately, he wasn’t able to be treated without a lot of pain and suffering, if it even helped. His prognosis wasn’t good at all, and we were heartbroken! The staff was great and supportive, and I really liked the vet! She let us know all our options and answered all our questions as we weighed our options for Sampson. This was my greatest fear for him when I saw he was sick, as I knew it wasn’t good. After talking all our options over, we decided the best thing for him was euthanasia. They made a horrible situation the best it could have been and were there for us every step of the way. I definitely recommend Cascade Vet & Emergency Hospital and will use them again if any of my other animals need emergency care. My sweet boy was a rescue and declawed when I got him, but he is free to climb trees now and bask in the sun all day long! We all miss him so much, even the other animals! Luckily my dog came with us and was able to go inside and say goodbye before he passed, which I really appreciate them allowing!
