Why pay for a wellness plan when you can’t even get in for your pet to be seen?? It was very difficult to get an appointment, regardless of whether it was an emergency or not. I was paying close to $50 a month for my pet to be seen "anytime" I needed her to be seen, but that was not the case. I had to visit 3 different Banfield’s in my area, and in most cases had to wait several weeks if not months to be seen. I truly believe if my dog was seen when I needed her to be seen she would still be alive. Unfortunately, she passed a week ago today (April 24, 2023). To make matters worse, Banfield says I still owe for the "remaining balance" on the plan. My girl is DECEASED!! What kind of services are going to provide?? What a rip off!! If anything, BANFIELD should owe me for the services NOT provided throughout the 14 years she was enrolled there! I will never use Banfield again and still expecting a call from Corporate but have not heard from them ‘yet’.
