Just adopted my sweet girl from Charleston Animal Society – when you adopt from them there are participating vets that do free complimentary wellness exams within the first 10 days of adoption to make sure nothing is wrong and if there is, you can bring the prescriptions back to Charleston animal society to get them filled for free. Schulers was one of those participating vets so we brought our dog here. Coincidentally the day of her appointment she had vomitting and diahrrea – we were NOT asking them to treat that just mentioned that at the wellness exam along with some concerns that she had allergies – so they quickly turned and said well now this can’t be a free complementary exam because she’s sick. They charged us $100 for nothing other than what seemed like a wellness exam. No tests were run and they didn’t treat the vomitting/diahrrea at all. Schulers – please get your name off the list for free wellness exams. We won’t be coming back as a permanent patient. They just lost a patient because they care more about making a quick buck then supporting adopting adulting dogs/their well being. If any of you are looking for a good vet that truly cares about the animals please go see Dr David Steele at advanced animal care – we used him for our first foster dog he is impeccable – would have brought our girl there but his clinic doesn’t participate in the free wellness exams and we thought we would give schulers a try because it’s right next door to where we live. Huge mistake
Everyone I’ve dealt with at both locations has been super professional, caring, responsive, and friendly. My dog even enjoys coming in for her visits. We love Dr Hill.
Everyone here was so sweet and kind with our dog! Very knowledgeable and worked us in last minute to help with our dogs injury!

I had a feral cat from work get injured, I went to the "emergency vet" which told me the emergency part was closed due to no doctors even though there were doctors on the appt side seeing patients. I called Shuler and they said bring her right in. They were informative and extremely kind. I would highly recommend Shuler for all your fur baby needs.
The entire staff of Shuler Vet Clinic is so professional and caring. They appear to love my babies as much as I do.
