The doctor was friendly and professional and the staff was wonderful from start to finish. At the end I really felt like I had a vet who would take great care of an important part of my family. They were super sweet with her even though she was scared with it being her first time seeing the vet. They even checked her out while she sat in my lap for most of it just to make her more comfortable.
Recently got a puppy and chose this vet because of the great reviews. Had her first visit where she received her second vaccines and a dewormer. The next night she wouldn’t eat and quickly developed a swollen abdomen. We took her to the emergency vet where they gave her medicine for bloat. The next day she was still very sick so I reached out to the vet several hours before they closed but it went to voicemail. I received a call back at 5:30 and they close at 7. I was rudely asked, what do you want? I mentioned that I had taken her to the emergency vet the night prior and was interrupted with “yeah we got her records what do you want us to do about it?” I expressed that I would like to talk to the doctor and ask what I should be on the lookout for and if certain things were normal, I was then told that it wasn’t their problem and that I should call the emergency vet because they were going to close soon and didn’t have time to deal with her. I explained again that my dog had been throwing up and I wanted to ask if it was normal while on certain medicines, she said “sounds to me like you should have handled that this morning” I quickly made a point to tell the woman that after my dog threw up more than once I called but they took three hours to get back to me. I can’t imagine trusting them to care for any pet of mine after this, especially since when a person goes to a doctors office or urgent care 2 hours before they close they do not turn you away and tell you to go to the E.R. On the other hand if you do end up going to the er you do not continue to follow up with them, but a regular doctor instead. If you don’t care about animals then why are you in this profession? The first visit I had here was great but this one phone call was horrible enough to make me never want this woman around my dog or anyone else’s. Called around to other vets to see if I get my dog seen, everyone else was happy to help. Will definitely be switching.
