Very trustworthy vet clinic, wouldn’t take them anywhere else. Love how they keep me up to date on my pets results. From checkup to surgery it doesn’t matter.
We recently switched over to Sunbury vet after multiple negative experiences with other vets in Austin, and so far, we are incredibly happy with our new vet! From the helpfulness of the front desk/admin staff on the phone, to the ability to prioritize getting sick pets in quickly for care, to the level of care we’ve received from the 2 different doctors we’ve seen, we are so happy with our decision to switch to Sunbury! There’s something to be said for an independent vet that hasn’t sold out, and that’s evidenced in the standard of care we’ve experienced with this practice!
Dr. Sunbury has taken care of my fur babies for several years. He literally saved our Sadie after adopting her 10 years ago. She is thriving and happy and has the best care from Sunbury Vet Clinic. They always make you feel like you are family. We love them all.

I used the website to attempt to schedule a first-time visit. I received an email with a 4-hour time window for the day in question, with a message saying the office would follow up to confirm the actual time. No confirmation ever came.
So I called intending to see where the issue was and re-schedule the appointment. While I was talking with the receptionist, she cut me off by asking, ‘Did you need to schedule something or not?’. I started to respond, when she said, ‘Okay, whatever…’ and then proceeded to hang the phone up on me in the middle of my sentence.
I would not trust this office with dogs’ collars, let alone my dogs.
This vet clinic was unfortunately very incompetent. They denied my dog?s heart worm medication for 3 months because they spelled his name incorrectly and didn?t fix it the first time I told them to. They didn?t update our information correctly causing more issues. They told us we could order prescriptions from Chewey but later told us we would need to come back in for more tests before we could actually receive the prescription. Staff was inattentive and long wait times just for a simple vet visit. Will not be returning.
