We had to be referred here to see a surgeon for our Bulldog. 2K of testing my dog for everything under the sun to get a diagnosis that he needed airway surgery. A surgery with Bulldogs that is fairly common. I learned recently that a good vet can tell that immediately. Without 2K of testing. (You hear it.) When I was asking questions about the results, Dr Stiller was rude, long sighs, started speaking in medical terms to be condescending. Great bedside manner. I really appreciated being treated like that and wanted to go somewhere else but we were already financially invested. I never had a bulldog before so this was all new but it just didn?t feel right. From there it was a referral to the surgeon across the hallway. I did really like him. He was easy to talk to, took his time and I thought did a pretty good job on the surgery. DR. Stiller said my bulldog didn?t need his nose opened, the surgeon said he did. So why see two different doctors then if we are coming to two different medical conclusions ??? We waited nearly 6 months to get airway surgery for our Bulldog. We were rescheduled TWICE the day before surgery and we?re met with unprofessionalism from the front desk when I didn?t want to wait another 6 + weeks. It was headaches and countless phone calls. Doctor saying one thing, front desk saying another. Taking my dog here wasn?t fun and ridiculously over priced. I moved to a new city and found a new vet. I made a appointment to get him neutered. Within 5 mins of meeting my dog, the DR said ? let?s get him breathing better?. They took him back right then, picked him up 4 hrs later. One third the cost. The front desk here at this location, wanted to charge me full price AGAIN to do the surgery a second time. Never discussed that as a potential option in the initial consult. Trust your gut, don?t take attitude. That should NEVER be a experience when getting care for your animal. Over priced and under delivered. If you have a Bulldog or Frenchie I?d go elsewhere.

Two more radiations and 2 vaccines…First time I came I was full of fear. Now I m getting to be able to drive at 5 and arrive on time for Toto’s appt. I saw kindness of pet owners in this place. They are like me. They love their pets and they treat them as their kids or grand kids. The oncologist is a fine human and he worked very hard every time I came. After a long day, he would present me Toto with his report of how Toto was doing. Little things tell whom that person is. I spilled coffee on the floor one time, he instantly asked me to hold Totos leash and he would get paper towel to wipe the spilled coffee. He did not have to do it. At the end he is there to save lots of pets lives. He is good at his field and we are very lucky that it’s only 180 miles to find him. His team is also wonderful. They all remember Toto, not me. Hi Toto….oh Toto..
It’s very sweet. I have a team of people who try hard to lengthen Toto’s life. They made me think driving 8 times to Dallas is not a big deal. We are a team. Thanks VCA Dallas Dr Custis and his team.

We had Dr. Cecilia Lopez for my pup’s lymphoma and she was everything you could hope for in a doctor. She was thorough, respectable, and kind. But what I really loved about her was the weekly medical records she sent detailing everything that went on with my dog during chemo. My pup, Molly, had to have ultrasounds done in addition to chemo and everything from the size of her masses to her blood results was sent to me each week. I have since moved to another state with a new VCA and they do not provide this thorough information, even upon request. It was also so easy to contact Dr. Lopez if I needed anything. A quick email and she always responded promptly and put my mind at ease. My dog did very well during chemo for the entire 20 weeks and started to seem like her old self again. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Lopez and the staff at this VCA for giving our family hope and extra quality time with our precious baby. Thank you guys for everything you do.

Horrible experience trying to get into the hospital. Upper management, however, was proactive, empathetic and very helpful. Based on that and the publication history of their medical chief, I recommend the clinic.
