They do a good work generally. They can be thorough. They did a great job on a surgey to remove a sarcoma and the end result was great so I can’t give less than 3 stars.
Unfortunately, this clinic has decided they will make you leave your pet there for hours for routine check ups every time. Techs routinely tell everyone they are "backed up and it will be 3 to 4 hours" and they suggest you leave the clinic and come back later. Don’t call them they will call you. Yet many times they have kept my animal for 5-6 hours. The closing time for the clinic has passed or nears and no call arrives. I fear they will keep my dog boarded if I don’t stand at the front desk and constantly remind them that I am waiting for my animal. This is very inconsiderate to clients who have day jobs and lives and can’t just wait around all day. That’s not a reasonable expectation when taking your dog to the vet.
Many times the clinic has closed or near closing and several people are waiting for their pets. This is a holdover from COVID policies which are very unusual. I have not seen this at any other veterinary clinic post covid.
Dogs do not enjoy being kenneled in solitary confinement until someone decides to begin treating them.
The animals are not offered food or water while being boarded all day. My dog runs to the water bowl in the lobby each time they finally release her to me.
Other vet clinics do not do this. It is very inconvenient for the human and stressful for the animals. This clinic also rejects prescription request without a courtesy call to the pet owner. For those reason I am forced to find a new clinic for regular check ups and routine exams. There’s no need to board animals and keep them for hours for routine check ups. It’s difficult to say that this is a professional manner to run any medical clinic.
They always take great care of our pets.
