They are the kindest folks I have ever met. After years of not knowing what was wrong with my cat, they quickly diagnosed him with stomatitis (immuno issue where the body rejects the teeth and thinks they are foreign, gums swell and its extremely painful), did a full extraction on his teeth, and he lived a very long and happy life afterward. When he was ready to cross the rainbow bridge, they treated him with dignity and kindness. My vet was crying right alongside my family and I. This is my pets vet for LIFE.

I don?t want to speak unkindly of this clinic because all staff members and the doctors that we encountered were absolutely lovely, and took excellent care of us while we were there. However, I want to precaution that the prices at this clinic are very high. I paid more than double for a well visit and vaccines here than I did at our previous clinic just outside of the city, and chose to forego recommended yearly testing due to the pricing. I took notes of all that was being recommended and the pricing, and they are indeed much higher than the clinic that I was coming from just outside of the city. For our pup?s yearly visit with vaccines, heart worm testing, and preventative meds I was quoted $500. This is about what I spent for her entire first year of life, which included her spay surgery with anesthesia, blood work, preventatives, parasite testing, and many puppy vaccine visits. This may be due to the central/ near Alamo Heights location. We will continue to make the drive to our previous clinic, but again, all staff were great and the clinic itself was clean and lovely.

Erica and Dr. Campbell are the best and is one of the reasons why I only trust AHAH with my furbabies. They never come home traumatized after a visit, like other places I’ve used previously.
