I brought my cat Pumpkin here for a second opinion during walk-in hours, and Dr. Gateman was able to find a heart murmur and diagnose a heart condition that was previously missed by another vet. Dr. Gateman is compassionate, knowledgable, and was happy to answer any questions I had. She was great when working with me on finding the best tests within my budget and explaining what the next steps are moving forward in Pumpkin’s care. Everyone at the front desk and the technician I met were very kind as well. I’m so glad I came to this office for a second opinion. Thanks again!
Love this place been there twice with my dogs and the staff and vet are so nice I recommend this place
I have had so much trouble with place it’s unbelievable they don’t return texts or emails. Very disappointed been going to them for many years abd always different vets
The clinic originally was a great small clinic that was located on St Cloud Street. It is now a new, bigger facility on Bandera Rd. with more doctors. It’s great that they offer walk-in service. The wait time, however, is very long. The time spent with the veterinarian is very rushed (limited time). The Vet doesn’t offer medication, the pet owner has to ask the veterinarian to give the attending pet medication/ injection to help the sick pet temporarily; due to only written paper prescriptions are being given, clinic has no pharmacy. This clinic used to have a pharmacy. This is an inconvenience. It is hard to find a pharmacy that will fill pet medication and / or find a pharmacy that has pet medications in stock.
Blue Cross clinic is making it very difficult for senior pet owners with limited access, transportation, and funds.
The current quality of service has dropped drastically.
