We fed our dog Timber some sheep bones and she stopped eating and started throwing up for a few days. Dr. Rustin Pickett was awesome to quickly squeeze us in for emergency surgery after reviewing the x-ray and seeing a bone clog at the bottom of the stomach. He had to cut my dog open, carefully open the stomach, retrieve the bones, inspect the entire length of the intestine, and carefully close everything back up. He was confident he got everything and also communicated the risks and concerns with the procedure. We were communicated with on how to care, feed, and tend our puppy post operation and our dog is doing great now about 4 days later. She is getting rowdy again and getting her energy back. Really great job by this clinic.
