I cannot express how happy I am that my little Luna and I switched to this vet! We previously went to a vet that just made me feel awful and like my pup was such a burden. She is so sweet and has never been aggressive in her life! But they would constantly suggest muzzling her and sedation for something as simple as a nail trim (I could go onnnn about them!) Needless to say, Luna became absolutely terrified of the vet and those people, so we had to make a switch. I received a suggestion to take her to AMCL and could not be happier! Worth the 20 minute drive for us. They are always so respectful and kind. And Luna is not shaking with fear when we go! Highly recommend them for caring for your pets 🙂
Dr. Myzie is the best vet Omar has ever seen. She is very attentive and astute. She pointed out duplicate medical therapy for heartworm protection in his prior records at a previous hospital so she advised on how to consolidate his regimen. She also explained how much protection the regimen he should stick with will provide. This was something I brought up as a concern to another vet who did not provide this insight. She also proactively provided recommendations for behavioral therapy for his light chasing and how that can cause him distress. I?m happy she recognized this as something I should address. Recently he got his dental cleaning where he was put under anesthesia. I was very nervous about it but was very confident in the quality of care because Dr. Myzie does such a great job with follow up and takes the time to discuss all my questions. She?s incredible and I?m so glad she is Omar?s doctor.
I have zero complaints with this place! If I could give more stars I would! The staff are friendly and they do a fantastic job taking care of my pup.
