If you’ve frequented this clinic in the past and haven’t been satisfied with your experience, I’d encourage a re-visit! Change of ownership has made a huge difference. Dr. Krisko and his staff are compassionate and thorough. Highly recommend!
Adopted a foster kitty who was established at this clinic. The foster parent paid for the kitten package that included all of the vaccines, feline leukemia testing and de-worming. We took the kitten (who was already established at this clinic) in for its last kitten vaccine and the clinic refused to give the kitten the vaccine, and wanted to charge us $150 to establish the kitten under "new owners". The vaccines were already paid for by the foster parent, and all the clinic had to do was administer the last dose of vaccines. But their lack of compassion and their greed fueled motivation prevented them from doing the job they were already paid to do. If you care about the care your animals receive, this may not be the best place to take your animals. The foster parent paid $350 for the kitten package, and another $150 for the kitten to even be seen. The fact that the kitten had a new owner, should not have changed the care that should have been provided. When this was brought up to the purple haired receptionist, it was stated "well that’s not how it works". We will NEVER give this "vet clinic" a chance to overcharge for services they lack the common sense and the compassion to provide.
We really appreciate the patience and kindness we experienced here. The team did a great job of helping us make the right decisions for our kitty without pressure or judgement. We never felt rushed and each team member spent the time to ensure we were informed of our choices. Thank you!
After my usual vet couldn’t get us in for several weeks and discontinued their puppy program, I was encouraged to look into Wheaton Way Veterinary Hospital for my then 8 week old puppy’s care. It’s quite a way away from home, so we would still need to use our previous vet in the event of an emergency, but the standard puppy care has been fantastic. The facility is clean and inviting, and the staff is friendly. Visits were quick and efficient but thorough and didn’t feel rushed. Dr. Brian has a great "tableside manner" and my puppy loves everyone there. I know Latte will be in good hands when she goes in for her spay next month!
Took our cat here (previous neighborhood cat) due to infections (eyes/ears). They went above and beyond getting him in an additional time at No cost to us bc he wasn’t used to getting his ears cleaned and I was certain he had an ear infection with how he was acting. They were kind, patient, no long wait like previous vets and took amazing care of us. We will be switching our other pets over due to the amazing service. We are grateful we took the chance after so many years with previous vet, try them out, you won’t be disappointed!
