I have been bringing my 2 year old lab Ripley to Dr. Ali Schreiner at Lodi Veterinary Care since she was a puppy. I wanted to write a review to share the positive experience that I consistently have at Lodi Vet. I’m able to easily get an appointment within a reasonable timeframe, which can be hard to do at some of the larger Madison area vet clinics. Dr. Ali and her techs always act SO happy to see Ripley. Because of their positive interactions, Ripley loves going to the vet or stopping by with me when I need to pick up medications. She has no anxiety related to the vet which is so helpful for me! The pricing at Lodi Vet is very competitive compared to my last vet. I chose to have my cat’s dental at Lodi Vet because of that fact. Whether it be routine care or simple procedures, I have always had a great outcome from the staff at Lodi Vet. I recommend to anyone looking for a great veterinary care experience.

I bring my pets here for yearly “physicals” and to get my pets updated on vaccines, etc and I like the work they do. They even did a great job treating my kitten’s eye infection a few years ago. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is that I did have a cat a while back that unfortunately passed at only 3. He had something with his heart and lungs, and had to be put in an oxygen cage. My only problem with this was that it was next to a bunch of dog cages, so when I went back to see my cat in his final moments and hold him, he was freaking out because of the dogs barking which worsened his breathing, making my final moment/ goodbye not so great. Otherwise, though, I think the work they do is great. Just might need some rearranging to keep dogs and cats a bit more separated ?

I always have a great experience here, while my last appointment was a little late they made up for it by apologizing and making sure my pet was taken care of. Overall one of the best vets in Wisconsin.

We were contacted multiple times before our appointment but the office forgot to give us any cost estimate for extraction surgery. The Cost came out to be 3x what we spent on our other dog. Instead of owning up to their mistake they doubled down and said it wasn?t anything they did.

Poor service and condescending conversations by manager Camille.

We drove from Rhinelander because all the vets were either out of the office, on vacation or no longer see farm animals. Great staff, took us in as soon as we arrived. Took x-rays and had our 3 month old goat in a cast and out the door in 45 minutes. I highly recommend them!
